Tie Canyon Boneyard

Editorial use only

Rusted vintage cars and scrap lumber piled at the foot of a rocky hillside in Tie Canyon near Scotty's Castle.

Tie Canyon, west of the castle, was a construction staging area from 1928 to 1931 and later a dump; NPS describes it today as resembling a junkyard.
